P1528 · ChryslerGovernor

P1528 on Chrysler vehicles indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an implausible signal or performance issue from the governor pressure sensor circuit inside the automatic transmission. The governor pressure sensor reports hydraulic pressure that the PCM uses to schedule shifts, and when the signal falls outside expected limits, the PCM stores this code and may command limp-home mode.
