P1530 · BMWB Camshaft Position Actuator Control Circuit Signal High Bank 1

P1530 on a BMW means the engine control module (DME) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the Bank 1 B camshaft position actuator, which is the solenoid that adjusts the intake or exhaust cam timing on that bank. The circuit is seeing a signal above the expected range, so the DME cannot reliably command the actuator and sets this fault.
