P2297O2 Sensor Out of Range During Deceleration (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P2297 means the powertrain control module (PCM) saw the upstream oxygen sensor on bank 1 report a signal outside its expected range while the engine was decelerating with fuel cut off. During deceleration the exhaust should go lean and the sensor voltage should drop; this code sets when the reading stays too high or otherwise implausible for the conditions.
