P27A4Electric/Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump B Control Circuit Low

P27A4 indicates that the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an abnormally low voltage on the control circuit for the electric or auxiliary transmission fluid pump 'B'. This pump is used in some automatic transmissions to maintain fluid pressure when the engine is stopped, such as during auto start-stop operation, and a low circuit condition means the TCM cannot reliably command the pump on.
