P25E2A Camshaft Position Control Performance Bank 2

P25E2 indicates that the engine control module (ECM) has detected a performance problem with the camshaft position control system on bank 2, which is the side of the engine that does not contain cylinder number one. The ECM commands a specific camshaft angle and then compares the actual camshaft position from the sensor to the desired value; when the two do not match within a calibrated time or range, it sets this code.
