P247CExhaust Gas Temperature Out of Range Bank 2 Sensor 1

P247C means the engine control module has detected that the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) reported by bank 2 sensor 1 is outside the range the computer expects for the current operating conditions. The sensor itself, its wiring, or the exhaust stream it monitors is not behaving as designed, so the module flags the circuit as out of range.
