P247BExhaust Gas Temperature Out of Range Bank 1 Sensor 4

P247B means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected that the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor 4 on bank 1 is reporting a temperature outside the range the engine management system expects for the current operating conditions. The PCM compares that signal against modeled exhaust temperatures and its own plausibility limits, and it sets this code when the reading stays too high or too low for too long.
