P0126Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Stable Operation

P0126 means the engine computer (PCM) has determined that the engine coolant temperature is not rising fast enough or is staying too low for stable, efficient combustion after a cold start. The PCM monitors coolant temperature over time and compares it to an expected warm-up curve; when the temperature fails to reach the calibrated threshold within a set period, it logs this code.
