P1361 · JaguarIgnition Coil Cylinder 1 No Activation

P1361 on a Jaguar means the engine control module (ECM) commanded the ignition coil for cylinder 1 to fire but detected no electrical activation or feedback from that coil circuit. The ECM monitors the coil primary circuit for expected current flow and voltage changes, and when the signal is absent it flags this code and typically disables fuel delivery to that cylinder to protect the catalytic converter.
