P1380 · GMMisfire Detected Rough Road Data Not Available

P1380 on a GM vehicle means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a misfire but cannot confirm whether the road surface is rough because the rough road data signal is missing or invalid. The PCM uses this signal from the antilock brake system (ABS) module to distinguish genuine engine misfires from vibration caused by rough roads, and without it the misfire detection logic is compromised.
