P1763 · ChryslerGovernor Pressure Sensor Voltage Too High

P1763 on a Chrysler vehicle means the Transmission Control Module (TCM) has detected a voltage signal from the governor pressure sensor that is higher than the expected range for the current operating conditions. The governor pressure sensor reports hydraulic pressure inside the transmission, and an abnormally high voltage reading tells the TCM the signal circuit is shorted to voltage or the sensor has failed.
