DTC codes / Chrysler codes / P1545
P1545 on a Chrysler vehicle means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a fault in the air conditioning (A/C) clutch relay control circuit, which is the wire the PCM uses to turn the A/C compressor on and off. The PCM monitors the circuit and sets this code when the voltage on the control wire does not match the expected state, either because the relay coil is open or shorted, the wiring is damaged, or the PCM driver has failed.
Guidance is general and written for Chrysler vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
