P1441 · ChryslerEvaporative Emission (EVAP) System Flow During Non-Purge

P1441 on a Chrysler vehicle means the powertrain control module detected fuel vapor flowing through the evaporative emission (EVAP) system when the purge solenoid was commanded closed. The computer watches the fuel tank pressure and leak detection circuits during a key-off or non-purge window and flags the code when pressure changes indicate an unexpected flow path.
