P2C8FDC/DC Converter Temperature Sensor D Circuit High

P2C8F indicates that the powertrain control module has detected an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit of the temperature sensor dedicated to the D-side DC/DC converter, which is the component that steps high-voltage battery power down to charge the 12-volt system. The high voltage reading tells the module that the sensor circuit is open, shorted to voltage, or that the sensor's internal resistance has risen beyond the expected range.
