P2AAFDiesel Fuel Presence Sensor Circuit High

P2AAF indicates that the powertrain control module has detected an abnormally high voltage on the diesel fuel presence sensor circuit, which typically means the sensor signal wire is shorted to voltage or the sensor's internal resistance has risen out of range. The computer expects a voltage within a calibrated window that represents the presence of diesel fuel, and a high reading tells it the circuit is not behaving as designed.
