P2AA4Cold Start EGR B Flow Excessive Detected

P2AA4 means the engine computer detected too much exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) flow during the cold-start phase, when the engine is warming up and the EGR system is normally kept nearly closed. The powertrain control module (PCM) commands the EGR valve to a specific cold-start position and then watches how the flow responds; if the flow is higher than the model predicts, it stores this code.
