P288DShift Fork B Calibration Not Learned

P288D means the transmission control module (TCM) has not successfully learned the calibrated end-stop positions for shift fork B, which is the fork that engages and disengages one of the gear ranges inside a dual-clutch or automated manual transmission. The computer commands the fork through its travel and watches the position sensor, but the learned values are missing or invalid, so the TCM cannot trust fork B's position for precise gear engagement.
