P287CTransmission Adaptive Values Not Learned

P287C means the transmission control module (TCM) has not successfully completed its adaptive learning routine for clutch or shift pressure values, so it cannot fine-tune shift quality. The computer detects this when the learned adaptive memory is blank, erased, or repeatedly fails to complete the learn cycle during normal driving.
