P2805Transmission Range Sensor A/B Correlation

P2805 means the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an implausible relationship between the signals from two internal range sensors, typically called Sensor A and Sensor B, that report which gear or range the transmission is in. The computer compares the two independent position signals and sets this code when they disagree beyond a calibrated threshold, indicating a correlation fault rather than a simple open circuit.
