P27B3Internal Control Module Transmission Gear Select Performance

P27B3 is a generic powertrain code that the transmission control module (TCM) sets when its internal monitoring detects a discrepancy between the commanded gear and the actual gear engagement, or when the internal control module's self-test of the gear select circuit fails. The TCM has determined that the transmission did not achieve the requested gear state within the expected time or that the internal signal processing for gear selection is out of range.
