DTC codes / P26xx · Computer and output circuits / P2680
P2680 indicates that the engine control module (ECM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the coolant degassing valve, which is used to route air and coolant vapor through the cooling system. The ECM expects a certain voltage range when commanding the valve, but the circuit is reading higher than expected, often due to an open circuit, a short to voltage, or a faulty valve.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
