P2682Engine Coolant Bypass Valve A Control Circuit Low

P2682 means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a low-voltage condition on the control circuit for the engine coolant bypass valve, which is the valve that routes coolant around the radiator to speed warm-up. The PCM commands the valve to move and monitors the circuit, and a low reading tells it the circuit is shorted to ground or the valve's internal coil has failed.
