P2679Coolant Degassing Valve Control Circuit Low

P2679 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a low-voltage condition on the control circuit for the coolant degassing valve, which is used to manage coolant flow and vent gases in the cooling system. The PCM commands the valve on or off and monitors the circuit for expected voltage; a low reading means the circuit is shorted to ground, the valve solenoid has failed, or wiring is damaged.
