P254DPTO Speed Selector Sensor/Switch 1 Circuit High

P254D indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a high-voltage condition on the signal circuit of the power take-off (PTO) speed selector sensor or switch number 1. The PCM expects the signal voltage to remain within a calibrated range, and a sustained high reading tells the module that the circuit is shorted to voltage, open, or that the switch itself has failed in a way that keeps the signal high.
