P2460DPF Restriction - Forced Limited Power

P2460 indicates that the powertrain control module has detected an excessive restriction in the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and has responded by forcing the engine into a limited-power mode to protect the filter and exhaust system. The computer typically makes this determination by comparing measured pressure drop across the DPF against expected values for the current exhaust flow, and it may also use estimated soot loading and regeneration history.
