P2443 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has commanded the bank 2 secondary air injection (AIR) switching valve to open, but the valve remains stuck closed. The PCM detects this by monitoring the AIR system pressure or the oxygen sensor response during the commanded open phase, and it sets the code when the expected change in airflow does not occur.
