P2416O2 Sensor Signals Swapped Bank 1 Sensor 2 / Bank 1 Sensor 3

P2416 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected that the signal wires for the downstream oxygen sensors on bank 1—sensor 2 (post-catalytic converter) and sensor 3 (a second downstream sensor, often used for catalyst monitoring or a different cylinder bank section)—are electrically swapped or cross-connected. The PCM compares the two signals and sees behavior that is inconsistent with their expected positions, such as sensor 2 responding like sensor 3 should and vice versa.
