P2370Fuel Volume Regulator B Control Circuit Open

P2370 indicates that the engine control module (ECM) has detected an open circuit in the control circuit for the fuel volume regulator (FVR) solenoid, often called the fuel metering valve or fuel pressure regulator, on the high-pressure fuel pump. The ECM commands a current to position the valve, but the circuit shows no continuity, so the valve cannot be actuated and fuel pressure control is lost.
