P22FFSCR NOx Catalyst Inlet Temperature Too Low

P22FF means the engine computer has determined that the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst inlet temperature is too low for the system to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) properly. The computer compares the measured exhaust temperature at the SCR inlet against the minimum threshold needed for the catalyst to work, and it sets this code when the reading stays below that threshold longer than expected.
