P22D7Turbocharger Turbine Inlet Valve Position Sensor Circuit High

P22D7 means the engine computer has detected an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit from the turbocharger turbine inlet valve position sensor, which monitors the variable-geometry turbo actuator or exhaust-side flow-control valve. The sensor normally returns a voltage within a calibrated range, and a reading above the upper limit tells the computer the valve position is out of range or the circuit is shorted to power.
