P22BEO2 Sensor Reference Voltage Circuit High (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

P22BE indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a voltage on the oxygen sensor reference circuit for bank 2 sensor 2 that is higher than the expected range. This reference voltage is a low-current signal the PCM uses to monitor the downstream oxygen sensor's operation, and an abnormally high reading tells the computer that the circuit is likely shorted to voltage or the sensor's internal electronics have failed.
