DTC codes / P0Exx · Hybrid propulsion / P0E75
P0E75 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the coolant bypass valve 'A', which is used to route coolant around the heater core or radiator for faster warm-up and improved temperature management. The PCM commands the valve by supplying a ground or a signal, and a high voltage reading on the circuit means the PCM sees voltage where it expects a low reference or a controlled signal, pointing to an open circuit, a short to voltage, or a failed valve actuator.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
