P0753Shift Solenoid 'A' Electrical

P0753 means the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an electrical fault in the circuit for shift solenoid 'A', which is the solenoid that controls one of the hydraulic shift valves inside the transmission. The computer monitors the solenoid's electrical current and sets this code when the circuit is open, shorted to ground, or shorted to power, so the solenoid cannot be commanded properly.
