P0112Intake Air Temperature Circuit Low Input

P0112 means the engine computer has detected an intake air temperature (IAT) sensor signal voltage that is lower than the normal operating range, which the computer interprets as an unusually high intake air temperature. The IAT sensor is a thermistor whose resistance drops as temperature rises, so a low signal voltage points to either an extremely hot intake charge or a circuit problem pulling the voltage down.
