P1568 · GMCruise Servo Stroke Greater Than Commanded In Cruise

P1568 on a GM vehicle means the cruise control module commanded a specific stroke from the cruise servo, but the servo actually moved farther than that command. The computer compares commanded servo position against the feedback signal and sets this code when the actual stroke exceeds the commanded value beyond an acceptable margin.
