P1524 · GMTP Sensor Learned CI Throttle Angle Out Of Range

P1524 on GM vehicles means the engine control module (ECM) has detected that the learned closed-throttle angle from the throttle position (TP) sensor is outside the acceptable range during its idle-learn routine. The computer expects a specific minimum voltage or angle when the throttle plate is fully closed, and the sensor's learned value has drifted beyond that window.
