P1252 · FordPedal Correlation PDS1 and LPDS High

P1252 on Ford vehicles means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected that the two accelerator pedal position sensors, called PDS1 and LPDS, are reporting voltages that are too high and do not correlate with each other as expected. The PCM compares these two independent signals to verify driver demand, and when both sit above the normal range or their relationship is skewed high, it flags this code and typically limits engine power.
