C0012Left Front Hydraulic Release Too Long

C0012 means the antilock braking system (ABS) control module commanded the left front hydraulic release valve to open, but the expected pressure drop did not occur within the allowed time window. The module monitors hydraulic pressure indirectly through wheel speed behavior and valve circuit feedback, and it sets this code when the left front brake cannot release quickly enough during an ABS event or self-test.
