U049DInvalid Data Received From Glow Plug Control Module 2

U049D means the engine control module (ECM) or another controller on the network received invalid or implausible data from the glow plug control module 2 over the controller area network (CAN) bus. The computer detected a message from that module that was missing expected values, out of range, or corrupted, so it flagged the communication as unreliable rather than completely absent.
