U0486Invalid Data Received From Antenna Control Module

The antenna control module is the electronic unit that manages the vehicle's antenna system, including signal amplification and diversity switching, and it communicates with other modules over a controller area network (CAN) bus. Code U0486 is set when a receiving module gets a message from the antenna control module that fails its validity checks, such as a checksum mismatch, out-of-range data, or a message that contradicts other information on the bus. The fault is about corrupted or implausible data, not a total loss of communication.
