U02A5Lost Communication With Reductant Heater Control Module

U02A5 is a generic communication fault indicating that the engine control module (ECM) or another primary module has lost contact with the reductant heater control module over the vehicle's controller area network (CAN) data bus. The ECM sets this code when it stops receiving the periodic status messages that the reductant heater control module is programmed to broadcast, which means the heater circuit for the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) system can no longer be monitored or commanded.
