U0235Lost Communication With Cruise Control Front Distance Range Sensor

U0235 is a communication fault where the module that monitors the front distance range sensor, typically part of the cruise control or driver-assistance system, has stopped receiving valid data from that sensor over the vehicle's controller area network (CAN) bus. The computer has detected a loss of the periodic messages the sensor is supposed to broadcast, not necessarily a failed sensor itself.
