U0151Lost Communication With Restraints Control Module

U0151 means the vehicle's main communication network has lost contact with the Restraints Control Module (RCM), the computer that monitors airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and crash sensors. The module that set the code, often the body control module or gateway, tried to reach the RCM over the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus and received no valid response for a set number of attempts.
