P2D30Cold Start Turbocharger/Supercharger A Overboost

P2D30 indicates that during a cold start, the engine computer detected turbocharger or supercharger A producing more boost pressure than the commanded target, triggering an overboost condition. The powertrain control module (PCM) compares actual boost from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor or boost sensor against the desired value and sets this code when the threshold is exceeded while the engine is still warming up.
