P2CBBFan 3 Underspeed

P2CBB indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected the third cooling fan circuit operating below the expected speed threshold, based on feedback from the fan's speed sensor or a calculated current draw. The PCM commands the fan on and monitors its actual performance, and when the fan fails to reach the commanded speed within a calibrated time, it stores this code and may illuminate the check engine light.
