P2CABDC/DC Converter Temperature Sensor F Circuit High

P2CAB indicates that the powertrain control module has detected an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit of the temperature sensor that monitors the DC/DC converter, which is the component that steps high-voltage battery power down to charge the 12-volt system. The high signal voltage tells the module that the sensor circuit is open, shorted to voltage, or that the sensor's internal resistance has risen beyond the expected range.
