P2BA7NOx Exceedence - Empty Reagent Tank

P2BA7 indicates that the engine control module has detected a nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions exceedance directly attributable to an empty diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank, also called the reagent tank. The computer monitors NOx sensor readings and the reagent level, and when the tank is empty or the fluid level is critically low, it sets this code because the selective catalytic reduction system cannot function without reagent.
