DTC codes / P2Bxx · Hybrid propulsion / P2B91
P2B91 means the engine computer has detected an abnormally high voltage signal from the turbocharger or supercharger B temperature sensor circuit. The sensor is responsible for reporting the temperature of the compressed air after the second forced-induction stage, and a high voltage typically indicates an open circuit, a short to voltage, or a sensor that has failed in a way that drives the signal above its normal range.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
