DTC codes / P2Axx · Hybrid propulsion / P2AD9
P2AD9 indicates that the reductant pump motor position sensor circuit is reporting a voltage above the expected range, which the engine control module interprets as a fault in the feedback signal from the pump motor's position sensor. This sensor is part of the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dosing system, and a high signal typically means the circuit is open, shorted to voltage, or the sensor itself has failed.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
