DTC codes / P2Axx · Hybrid propulsion / P2A62
P2A62 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit of the fuel level sensor in the alternative fuel tank, designated as tank B. This high voltage condition typically means the sensor circuit is open, shorted to voltage, or the sensor itself has failed, causing the PCM to see a signal above the normal operating range.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
